High Throughput Automation Optimized for Continuous Array Tape™
The Douglas Scientific solution is based upon several patented technologies, including our continuous Array Tape™ with micro-embossed wells to perform the biofluidic processing. The Array Tape™ can be manufactured using a variety of substrate materials in nearly limitless formats and well geometries.
Our Array Tape™ is pin-driven by rows of sprocket holes found on both edges of the tape. This assures accurate positioning for precision coordination with our innovative Nexar® liquid handling system. Sequential liquid handling, drying and reading steps are performed inline on interchangeable modules without the handling of individual microtiter plates.
Patented Inline Technology Optimizes Laboratory Process
Our Array Tape™ platform is optimized for inline dispensing and scanning instrumentation. Several of our products have been engineered, patented and manufactured by Douglas Scientific to optimize high throughput processing on tape. The primary tape dispensing instrument is the
Nexar® and our scanning device is the
Araya®.
