Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR)
Real-Time PCR has become an integral tool for biological research and healthcare applications over the last 20 years. Traditionally, quantitative Real-Time PCR (qPCR) systems have been based on costly microplate reactions with large reaction volumes in 96- and 384-well based formats. To reduce costs, researchers are seeking out more economical means of qPCR research and increase throughput. Douglas Scientific® has addressed this need with the new IntelliQube® system. The IntelliQube is the first fully automated medium to high-throughput qPCR system. This system features seamless integration of liquid handling, thermal cycling, detection and data analysis.
